  • Send you marketing communications - We may send you marketing emails in two circumstances:

    b) Under the ‘soft opt-in’ for existing customers

    If you purchase a reading or similar service from us, we may email you about related or similar services (such as follow-up readings, upgrades, or related guidance offerings), provided you have not opted out.

  • Advertising & Custom Audiences

    We may use your email address or other contact information to create “custom audiences” on advertising platforms (such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok or similar) so we can show you relevant updates, offers, or content about our services. This process is secure and your information is hashed (encrypted) before being uploaded to any advertising platform.

  • Booking records and payment details: retained for up to 6 years to comply with UK tax and accounting laws.

  • Call recordings:

    • all calls are recorded and securely stored on The World of Psychics’ Vonage dashboard, managed by our telephone service provider, Vonage, for monitoring, quality assurance, and compliance purposes.

    • Callers are notified via our telephone system (IVR) that calls are recorded before the recording begins.

    • Recordings remain accessible on our Vonage dashboard for a maximum period of 30 days from the date of the call, after which they are automatically deleted and no longer accessible to us.

    • The World of Psychics may download a specific call recording only where it is necessary to review the call in connection with a complaint, compliance review, or dispute resolution. Once the matter has been resolved, the downloaded recording is immediately deleted from our local systems.

    •  Access to call recordings is strictly limited to authorised personnel. Recordings are never shared with third parties.

    • Vonage manages all call recordings in line with its own privacy and data-retention policies, which can be reviewed at Vonage’s Privacy Policy.

  • Email correspondence: retained as long as necessary to manage your enquiry, then deleted or archived securely.

  • Marketing data: retained until you withdraw your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).

Once data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a UK/EU resident, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Request corrections or updates.

  • Request deletion of your information.
